Event Care Co is led by Britney Laird, an early childhood professional with formal education in Early Childhood Education and extensive experience working with children of varying abilities and needs.
Britney studied Early Childhood Education at Lane Community College and spent many years working as both an assistant teacher and lead teacher in early learning environments, including classrooms supporting children with special needs.
This classroom experience developed a strong foundation in child development, behavior guidance, and creating supportive environments where children can feel comfortable, included, and understood.

In addition to her classroom background, Britney has provided long-term in-home care for individuals requiring consistent, attentive support.
This work shaped a caregiving approach rooted in patience, emotional awareness, and adaptability — qualities that become especially important in event settings where children may be navigating unfamiliar environments, excitement, or changes in routine.
